American White Oak Barrel Bungs — Replacements for V1 Hybrid Barrels

Oak bungs are the traditional stopper for your Fusion Barrel Works V1 hybrid barrel. Each bung is turned from American white oak and sized to fit snugly into the bung hole, creating an airtight seal during aging while still allowing the slow micro-oxygenation that develops flavor complexity in your whiskey, bourbon, rum, or wine.

Keep a spare on hand — bungs swell with use and can occasionally crack over time. These are cut from the same American white oak used in our barrel heads, so they won't introduce any off-flavors or competing wood character to your spirits.

Compatible with: All Fusion Barrel Works V1 hybrid barrels (0.86 gal, 1.67 gal, 2.5 gal)
Not compatible with: V1+ Tri-Clamp barrels (those use a tri-clamp fitting instead of a bung)
